North Greenwich Pier - in November 2021
I visited the North Greenwich Pier again on the 27th July 2023. I had booked a ticket online, but this never arrived, and therefore I repurchased a ticket via their ticket machine.
As a London60 pass holder, I get 50% concession, so it is a good deal, and allows a days roamer travel for about £10 a person.
I was also using a wheelchair as part of my journey as I struggle to walk up the very long slopes off of the boat, and other than this the boats are very accessible.
Unfortunately I was charged twice on my bank statement for this days travel, and I am now attempting to get a refund. It is not part of TFL, and so far an email to Uber has been ignored. I wonder if their twitter service is any better?
Apparently, the twitter service just asks me to email the company I am awaiting a response from!
I visited the North Greenwich Pier in November 2021. It is accessible, and within walking distance of Emirates Cable cars.
There is a long ramp down to the Uber Thames Clipper. Most piers are accessible.
All piers appear to have very long and quite steep ramps, and this was the case at Battersea, North Greenwich and also Canary wharf where I eventually alighted.
To take motorised scooters onboard, you may need to contact Uber in advance.
