Holborn station is in London fare zone 1. On the Central line the, Holborn station is between Tottenham Court Road (Accessible) and Chancery Lane, and on the Piccadilly line, Holborn station is between Covent Garden and Russell Square. Holborn is the only direct interchange between these lines. See notes below about accessibility between these lines, which is zero.

AccessAble Access Guide :

I visited Holborn in September 2022. We had travelled from Hyde Park coner on the Piccadilly line.
On exiting the Piccadilly line train, the exit and connection to the central line is via a short tunnel and a set of steps downwards (maybe 15 steps ?).
From here a short walk arrives at a very long escalator leading upwards.
At the top of this escalator, there is another escalator to exit the station, OR a short tunnel and a set of steps (about 30 ?) leading back down to the central line.
A woman struggled with carrying a large push chair up this double flight of steps from the central line, sorry I could not help.

So, I believe there is an escalator which enters the station down to the central line, and then some stairs (about 30).
OR a second long escalator down to the the Piccadilly line where you then need to climb some stairs (15?) to reach this train line.
I did not count the stairs, I was too traumatised by the whole situation!

Accessibility friendly : Holborn is not accessible to wheelchair users due to stairs and / or escalators between the platforms and street level. This appears to be the case in swapping Underground lines also.
I don't know why some nob in TFL could not put some simple signage explaining the number of steps expected to be climbed, and distances in tunnels, in expectation of someone like me wanting to use their services.
I am sure I am not alone in asking for a simple description of a station, and its accessibility.

General description :

The city-guide.london site predicts that there are between 19, 20 or 22 steps; plus an escalator down to the platforms. You must also use stairs when changing between the Central/Piccadilly line platforms
