Debden is on the Central underground, and is mainly accessible to wheelchair users on the eastbound platform.
April 2021 : The accessibility scheme at Debden includes two new lifts and a pedestrian bridge linking the platforms, giving customers step-free access within the station. Manual boarding ramps are available to assist customers who require level access from platform to train, in addition to tactile paving along the full length of both platforms.
Step-free access stations have lifts or ramps - or a combination of both - so that customers don't have to use escalators or stairs to move between the street and the platform.
