Barnes is on the South Western national rail network, and is only partially accessible to wheelchair users on platforms 1 and 4. The advice is not to use this station, but travel ten minutes by road to Mortlake station. See pictures and further accessible transport detail from links and detail below.

General description : There is wheelchair access to platforms 1 and 4 only. Platforms 2 and 3 are inaccessible to wheelchair users. Alternatively advised to join services at Mortlake (approximately 10 minutes by road) where there is level access to platform two, which is served both by country bound services and trains destined for London (Teddington and Hounslow services) - London bound passengers doing this also have the capacity to change at Richmond (which has lifts to/from every platform) to pick up direct trains into Waterloo.
