Relatives of mine were running the Grey Horse at Kensal Green in 1904. Ambrose Job Jeffries and his wife, Selina Martha Jeffries (nee Tavner), seem to have run various pubs over the years. Ambrose was born in Kensington (about 1871), his wife was born in Northleach on the 4th of September 1866. I think Ambrose and Selina had three children, the last was definitely born when they were at The Grey Horse as can be seen from her baptism record . *
