Morning Advertiser 08 April 1842 :
Yesterday James Warren, a low ruffian looking fellow was finally examined, charged by Mr Thomas Tyrrell, landlord of the Green Man public house, Muswell hill, Hornsey, with having violentlly assaulted him, so to endanger his life. (The event took place on the 10th March)

Kentish Mercury 16 April 1842:
Samuel Warren was indicted for a felonious assault upon Mr Terry (?), the landlord of the Green Man, Muswell hill. Sentenced to hard labour for 12 months.
