At North Road in 1866. Replaced with an Esso petrol station known as the Wellington Service Station. *** The Wellington at Highgate. The pub was rebuilt in the 1920s and demolished in the early 1980s. It appears briefly in the film Quadrophenia (1979), Jimmy and his friends go there to by drugs but are ripped off and smash up the dealers car. *
