In the 1851 Census, my Great x3 Uncle Richard Beal and his wife Esther are seen as the 'Owners' of the Coach and Horses inn. Richard Died in 1854 and was buried 23 May 1854 at St Mary's Hanwell. Mrs Esther Beal is in charge in 1855 according to the Post Office Directory. Richard came from Alderminster and married his wife Esther Oram In Christ Church, Hampshire on 1 January 1834 - she came from the Cricklade area in Wiltshire. *
