I have now learnt that the "Brittania" Pub in Fairfax Road, Hampstead was in
the hands of a George Sanderson which I believe he will have owned, as he
also owned "The Coach and Horses" at 120 Holborn Circus which was on lease
to a Mr. William Turner; and the "Duke of Clarence" at 71 Commercial Road,
Middlesex, on lease to Mr. Nicholas Page. *
He was in possession of the latter two in 1883, and Fairfax Road, Hampstead
was given as one of his addresses in his Will. He was certainly at Fairfax
Road in 1881 according to the census. *
He was at the Cadogan Hotel, Sloane Street, London in 1871. *
