Five weeks since Mr Arthur Richings applied to the Tottenham Justices for a transfer of the license of the Railway tavern Lower Edmonton. A fortnight afterwards he was taken ill, and on Saturday last he died, leaving behind him a young widow and one child.
The deceased was an old and respected employee of the New River Company, well known and respected by a large number of fellow workers from Wood Green to Ware.

Tragedy at an Inn - The tragic sequel of a wife's unfaithfulness was investigated by an Edmonton jury, who found that Alfred Clark (42), of the Railway Inn, Enfield Town, murdered his wife Rose Clark (39), at the Railway tavern, Edmonton, which she conducted, and committed suicide during temporary insanity -
