Sometimes listed as in High Road. The Old Leather Bottle in 1861 census *** This Mann, Crossman & Paulin pub was ultimately known as the Bottle & Dragon and briefly appeared in Stanley Kubrick's film A Clockwork Orange. In the early 1970s, it was reinvented as a Watney's Schooner Inn. Situated at the junction with Orchard Drive, south side, it closed on 8th October 2002 and was demolished. The address was 76 Stonegrove. *
