1st October 1898 / My grandmother's birth certificate (Frederica Edna Voller) shows her to be born at 22 Goodman's Yard which is the address of the Ben Johnson's Head pub. Her father's name was Frederick George Voller and he is listed as a licensed victualler at her birth (1 Oct 1898). *

FG Voller was the licensed victualler for a number of pubs in East London and Kent; and at the Swan, High Street, Maldon by the 1901 census, and the Earl Zetland, 137 Burdett Road in 1911. Also his father Dietrich Voller held the Globe Hotel, Soho, in 1891. *
