The photograph is of The Rising Sun, Great Scotland Yard taken on 31st May 1884. The pub was damaged by a Fenian bomb attack on the police headquarters on 30th May, 1884; when the Landlord is William Duncan. He charged sightseers a penny each to see the pub interior. The Rising Sun was demolished in 1910 when the police station was expanded. *
