I am attempting to piece together the Mountain family history, and at the Northumberland Head, 4 St.Martin's Lane [now demolished], was innkeeper John Mountain 1781- 1820 and his wife Elizabeth [neé Munday]. It appears the Mountains, and there were many, were all innkeepers,victuallers and coachmasters in 18th and 19th century London. *
