A listing of historical London public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in St Magnus Martyr parish, City of London.
St Magnus Martyr, Lower Thames street, City of London EC3 - in June 2021
This is very close to London bridge, and in fact the churchyard was a throughway to the earlier London bridge which was rebuilt around about 1823.
Fish street hill, City of London EC3 - in June 2021
Opposite, and across Lower Thames street, is Fish street hill leading up to the Monument. This was the original entrance and exit to London bridge pre-1820, note the early steep slopes for coach and horses, carriages etc, and the narrow passage via the churchyard.
