Captain Patrick McEnroy DSO, MC, presided at the quarterly meeting of the Westminster and Chelsea Licensed Victuallers and Hotel and Restaurant Proprietors Protection Association held at 15 Hobart place on Monday.
The chairman, mentioning the death of Mr Edward Bryant, for 43 years the licensee of "The Royal Pavilion", Vauxhall Bridge road, said he was the oldest member of the association.
The members stood for a few moments as a mark of respect for Mr Bryant and others connected with the association who had died since the previous meeting.
