On 10 September 1823, my 3x g great uncle Israel Reeves was giving evident at a trail at the Old Bailey. To quote the proceedings online : ***

a "ISRAEL REEVES . I am the landlord of the Bricklayers' Arms, Grosvenor-mews. The prisoner ..."
From the Land Tax records available at Ancestry, I know Israel was listed at the John Street address between 1821 and 1824. He was buried on 13 May 1824, age 48.
Prior to 1821, Israel appears on Brown Street from 1816 to 1820 and the Robsons Directory of 1820 lists him as a "tea dealer, grocer &c" ***
