The National Archives list several entries for William Bagley, victualler at 44 Mount street in 1798 and also in 1792 is :
Insured: William Bagley, at the Bricklayers Arms, Mount Street Grosvenor Square, victualler
The Bricklayers Arms, Mount street, Westminster first had a license in 1730, before the first resident in the list of 1809. In fact there I found a reference to an earlier resident, one William Bagley (his wife was Susannah) in 1791 when his premises were commandeered for an inquest by Thomas Prickard, coroner. *+
William Bagley died in January of 1810. When did he first acquire the licence, please let me know.
