Kings Head, 95 Tooley Street, Southwark St Olave

Southwark St Olave pub history index

There are two Kings Head in Tooley Street before 1891, at 95 Tooley Street and also at 178 Tooley Street. This Kings Head is at, or near,  the junction with Stoney Lane.  This Kings Head is latterly renamed the Old Kings Head, and at 135 Tooley Street by 1891. I have 1822 to 1826 Recognizance entries for both, but not sure which is which at present.
