The marriage and banns take place between Joseph Bray Woolfe and Mrs Mary
Bray Rudd in October 1838. He is a boat builder, son of Thomas Woolfe, boat
builder, at 62 Luke street. Mary is the daughter of William Rudd,
Wheelwright. The 1841 census lists them with their first son, Joseph, aged
1. They are both listed as aged 25, and Joseph is a boatbuilder. In 1848,
Joseph Bray Woolfe is at the Antigallican, Emmett street, as is Mary in
1851. By 1856, she is listed at the Union, Emmett street. Are these the
same, probably.
