My grandaunt was Lilla Rachel Court (formerly Griffin, formerly Salter), is listed as the Licensee on the 9th July 1892, which follows the death of her husband, (the former Licensee), James Griffin, on 17th May 1892. Lilla Rachel Griffin then married Robert John Court Taylor on Christmas Eve 1893. Robert John Court Taylor seems to have ceased using the surname Taylor at this, or around, this time. ***

My grandfather, who I never met, married my grandmother, who I did meet just once or twice, at the Poplar Register Office on 19th July 1899. His aunt Lilla Rachel Court died in Q3 of 1899. At the moment I don't know if this was following the marriage or not.
