Marylebone index
The address of the Windsor Castle seems to vary between Church Street, Edgware Road and Church Street, Lisson Grove; and the Windsor Castle, Hardington street in the 1853 license transfer. In 1869 both these roads are called New Church Street, and the Windsor Castle is at 27 New Church Street, Edgware Road; this is near the junction with Hardington Street. The address then changes to 70 Church Street, Lisson Grove until at least 1915. At 124 Church Street by 1921, near to the junction with Hardington Street.
This is outside the Windsor Castle, on the 23rd June 1920; at a Cork Club outing, My Great Grandfather, Charles Edward Northwood was the publican and is the stout fellow in the middle of the picture with a Homburg and a bow tie.
Actually, this is the Windsor Castle at 98 Park Road, Regents Park as can be seen by the shape of the modern building.

I've been researching the Dickson family,
who they ran a number of pubs in London from the early 1900's. (James) Arthur Dickson was the father and he had two sons
Arthur George Dickson and Ernest Edwin Dickson, all involved in the
brewery trade. **
