Belinda Castle, 107 Halton Road, Islington N1

Islington index

The address is 1 Belinda Street in 1856 and earlier, prior to street renaming (it's also given as 1 Belinda Place in 1848 and 1841 directories).
In all the license transfer until 1864, and the 1856 directory, this is the Castle, Belinda Street. It changes by 1869 to the Belinda Castle, Halton Road. *  Note the current address is now 63-69 Canonbury Road, which is roughly where Halton Road would have crossed; this is now a gastropub known as the House and probably dates from the 1930s. ***
