Emily Pidgeon (daughter of John), (1868-1906) married (1) William Charles Hadden, (2) John McCarthy. *

Emily Pidgeon married William Hadden in 1887. William was born at Stepney, son of a fishmonger with whom he first worked, then became a dairyman before taking over the the Baker & Basket. William died in 1902. Emily then married a crane driver John McCarthy in 1906, but she died later the same year. The widowed John was managing the Highlander at 302 Cable Street, Shadwell in 1911, with the help of his widowed daughter Margaret Morris. *
