Lord Wellington, 516 Old Kent road, Camberwell SE1

Camberwell pubs history index

At Sussex Place, Old Kent Road in 1856 and earlier. Rebuilt after WWII and extended to take the address 512-516 Old Kent Road, this pub was well-known in the 1980s and 1990s as the Henry Cooper. More recently the pub took the name Vogue (2008), but this looks to have been a short-lived venture and the premises are now empty. **
