Peckham Publican Assaulted.
Daniel Sheehan (37), a hawker of Fenham road, Peckham, was charged at Lambeth on Tuesday with attempting to steal a till at the Victoria Arms Beer house, Victoria road, Peckham. Mr William Marley, the lic3nsee of the premises said he saw the prisoner leaning over the counter. He seized the prisoner, who then dealt him with a violent blow in the face. .. Sentenced to One month hard labour.
