My great grandfather, John Bishop was the landlord here in 1911, and his children, Les , John , Rennie, and Margery lived here. He ran the Admiral Keppel in south Kensington before moving south of the river to Dulwich. Before this, he was at the Builders Arms, in Regent street. Prior to this they lived at 2 Ellingfort road, Hackney in 1896. John Charles Bishop married Jessie Millar at St Jude, Peckham in February 1896, when he is manager of the Coach & Horses, 178 Stoke Newington High Street, Hackney **
