Our great great uncle worked at The Three Nuns' Hotel. In the 1896 wills, it
lists Gustav Oscar Wermann "of the Three Nuns" hotel, Aldgate. He died Dec
1, 1896 and left widow Clara. I have been unable to locate Clara after his death. *+
In the 1881 and 1891 UK census Oscar's occupation is listed as hotel keeper
or restaurant manager. But other than the street where he lived, the census
does not say where he worked. Also, our grandmother was apparently born at
the Three Nuns in 1891, which is how this whole story came together. *+
