Ye Olde Crutched Friars, Crosswall, EC3 at the corner of Friars Passage. In 1985
Friars Passage was a useful shortcut into Fenchurch St Station. The pub was demolished during the building of One America Square.

This was Krolls hotel, at 15 America square until about 1899. The address was also given as 1 John Street. In 1901 this hotel was divided into two premises, with the licensed part continuing as Ye Olde Crutched Friars. The pub closed and was demolished in around 1990. **
