Search my many thousands of pubs and London history
I know Dagenham well, having spent considerable time there in my first job, with British telecom, well - it was a short experience! The Ford car plant was then a major work provider for many, I am not so sure it is now.
Since starting Family History , I discovered one important part of my family left fairly prosperous farms, in the Kelvedon Hatch / Doddinghurst area, and ended as general traders in Whalebone Lane, Becontree Heath; before merging with my Suffolk Wildings in Romford.
[Dagenham includes the area of Becontree Heath in all Directories]
