London Robsons Street Directory in 1832 - Great Ormond street, Queen square

Robsons 1832 directory index

This is the earliest street directory I have found so far which also includes pub history detail.

Mapping the Great Ormond street
Great Ormond street is epitomised by the wonderful children's hospital of the same name and that of J. M. Barrie, known famously for his literary work, Peter Pan. He, anonymously, endowed the copyright and royalties of his book to the hospital in 1929.
The original hospital started life as the London Homeopathic Hospital, in Golden square, in about 1849. The first building in Great Ormond street was in 1859, and its history and many early pictures are on this brilliant site.

And in comparison from 1842, although with no links as it is an image. It does include much more detail about trade details rather than in 1832.
