London Robsons Street Directory in 1832 - Clare street, Clare market

Robsons 1832 directory index

This is the earliest street directory I have found so far which also includes pub history detail.

Clare street runs south from Clare market to Stanhope street in the 1895 mapping. Both are later demolished for the building of Aldwych and Kingsway betweeen 1900 and 1905; whilst Clare market continues as before.

And in comparison from 1842, although with no links as it is an image. It does include much more detail about trade details rather than in 1832.
