This is the 1818 Johnstones London commercial guide which also includes a little pub history detail.
John Lockie in 1810 describes as :
"Assembly Row, Mile End, part of the S. side of the road, commencing about 1/8 of a mile on the R. below the turnpike, and is nearly 1/8 in length. "
