This is the 1818 Johnstones London commercial guide which also includes a little pub history detail.
John Lockie in 1810 describes as :
"Andersons Buildings, City Road, part of the Northern side by the turnpike, a little more than 3/4 of a mile on the Right from Finsbury square, and near 1/3 of a mile from the Angel, Islington, on the opposite direction."
Andersons Buildings, are listed in City Road in 1832 and 1842
