This pub is now closed and in private residential use. ** It has been in residential use since at least 1974 - and is now used as New End Primary School's caretaker's house. Closed by 1910. This pub's address is now 12 Streatley Place. *** A pub called the Fox and Goose (or simply the Fox) stood either at or very near this site in the 18th century, according to A History of the County of Middlesex, which states it was located near 30 New End. *
