Introducing the Greenford Arms, formerly the Wishing Well on The Broadway, Greenford. This popular West London community pub is back open again following a £142,000 investment.
With a new name – paying homage to the area and the community that the pub serves – and a fresh new appearance, the favourite community local, located right in the centre of Greenford Broadway, is open and welcoming guests once again. Open everyday from 10am Monday to Saturday and from 12pm on Sundays, the Greenford Arms makes for the perfect venue for guests to pop in throughout the day and evening, to enjoy a range of quality beers, wines, and spirits with well-known local, national and international names available.
The refurbishment has also seen a new billing of entertainment for guests to enjoy throughout the week. Wednesday nights see the Greenford Arms karaoke nights return, Thursday night is quiz night with great prizes to be won, alongside the pubs Friday and Saturday night live music, for guests to dance the night away.
With great viewing facilities throughout all areas of the pub, there’s no better place in town to catch all of the best sporting action live with your friends and family, with both BT Sport and Sky Sports being shown regularly. The pub boasts eight large TVs which gives the venue an amazing matchday feel, along with a new AV system to give the best possible quality for live entertainment taking place at the venue.
The pub is operated by Graham Leonard, who previously run the Finchley Tavern in North Finchley, Graham built a good atmosphere and delivered a great customer experience at his previous pub, as he looks to do the same at the Greenford Arms following its recent refurbishment.
Speaking on the reopening, Graham said: “I’m delighted to have opened the doors once again following our refurbishment, it’s great to see the place thriving once more with our new look. I’m looking forward to welcoming in more of the local people of Greenford, as we look to finish off the year in style here at the Greenford Arms.
“We have lots of exciting plans in the coming weeks and months. I am eager for the pub to get involved in lots of community initiatives and support as many local charities as possible. The Greenford Arms has been renamed after its local community as that is exactly who the pub is for.”
The Greenford Arms is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards.
