I have failed to find much about this pub. 30 Stafford place and the pub seem to have vanished by the 1861 Census, and I suspect it lay on a branch of Stafford Place which ran west to Buckingham Gate. This branch is marked on the 1851 skeleton OS map, but has gone by the 1869 edition. ***
