St James, 27 Broadway, St Margaret, Westminster

Westminster St Margaret index

This pub stood on the corner of Broadway and Great Chapel Street, the same site as that occupied a decade earlier by the Three Tuns.
It was built some time in the 1870s, and survived until the 1920s when it was demolished for the construction of the new London Transport headquarters above St James Park Underground station, which were opened in 1929. *
