Mr Hunt had quitted, and Mr Wilson, as owner, took the premises back. It subsequently transpired that Mr Hunt had been fined £5 for Sunday trading. He moved to the Lukes Head, Little Pulteney Street, where he made unfounded charges against the police, leading to the magistrates declaring him unfit to keep a public house, according to The Era of 29th April 1855. ***
