Westminster St Margaret index
This house stood on the north side of York Street towards the eastern end. According to the Westminster City Archives Research Group, it was originally called the “Eagle and Child”, but it was the Prince of Wales in 1827. It was unoccupied in 1891, and disappeared under the extension of Queen Anne’s Mansions shortly afterwards. *
