In June 1817 (born May 1817), Ralph Painter is baptised in Westminster St Margaret. His father is Charles Pinter, whom is a Victualler at Bridge street; his
mother is Ann painter. In June 1838, Ralph Painter, a publican, marries Hannah Ovens at Lambeth. Ralph Painter, a widowed Licensed victualler,
marries in Brixton, in May 1850 to Elizabeth Ovens. I wonder if Hannah and Elizabeth were sisters? In the 1851 census, they are listed at his fathers
pub, the George Canning.
