This pub was first licensed in the early 1850s, at 15 Willow Street in 1871 before re-numbering takes place; it was rebuilt in 1938;  and renamed to Willow Place around the same time ** The premises, on the West side of Willow Street, were occupied in 1851 by Thomas Alder, a general dealer, and his family. He died, and his widow, Elizabeth, married James Wooderson in Q1 1859; Mr Wooderson was a beer retailer here in 1861. * Situated opposite Greencoat Place, closed around 2010 and demolished. *+
