At 20 or 21 & 22 Millbank Row before 1881. Millbank Row was that part of todays Millbank between Lambeth Bridge and the Millbank Tower. Some time between 1871 and 1881, it became part of Grosvenor Road which was extended as far North as Lambeth Bridge. Millbank Row was numbered from South to North and Grosvenor Road from North to South; this house stood at the northern end, on the corner of Millbank Row and Horseferry Road, and the references from The Era place it in Horseferry Road. This location is confirmed by an enumerators note in the 1861 Census in the entries for Market Street (the name of the eastern end of Horseferry Road in the 50s and 60s) we find 1&2 Market Street White Hart returned by Mr Poole at No 22 Millbank Street. Unfortunately the records for Millbank Row (not Millbank Street - the enumerator was in error) are partially damaged, and the White Hart cannot be found there. *
