Morpeth Arms, 58 Millbank, Westminster, London, SW1P 4RW

The pub stands at the junction of Ponsonby Place with the road running along the north bank of the Thames. Until some time between 1871 and 1881, this road was called Ponsonby Street and the pub was at No. 12. Then Grosvenor Road, which already ran from Chelsea Bridge to Vauxhall Bridge, was extended as far as Lambeth Bridge, and the pub became 58, Grosvenor Road. Some time between 1915 and 1934, Millbank displaced Grosvenor Road back to beyond Vauxhall Bridge, and the pub became 58 Millbank. Most of the references from The Era give the address as Ponsonby Place, and the 1851 Census, while not giving it a house number, puts it in the middle of a sequence of properties in Ponsonby Place also.  *
Built in 1845 or 1846; at 12 Ponsonby Street, Millbank in 1869; at 58 Grosvenor Road in 1915 & earlier, at 58 Millbank by at least 1934 ** This is a Youngs pub in 2017.
