Kings Arms / Graftons, 2 Strutton Ground, St John, Westminster SW1

At 58 Strutton Ground in 1884 & earlier. This Kings Arms pub was originally at 48 Orchard Street. It was demolished during the building of Victoria Street, and the license subsequently transferred to 58 Strutton Ground. *

This pubs original name is the Kings Arms; but has traded under several different names in recent years and adopted the Strutton Arms name in 2005. For many years it was called Grafton's, which is the family name of a former landlord (e.g. in 1944). ** Members of The Goons would rehearse in the upper rooms. Renamed The Grafton Arms in the early 2010s. ***
