In 1708 : A New View of London by Edward Hatton lists in its key lists the White horse inn, on the South East side of Portugal street, in St James's Westminster
By 1746, the John Rocques map of London shows clearly a White Hart yard running south from Piccadilly, and runs as a passage all the way to Little Jermyn street. This yard is opposite the Old Bond street. Portugal street is now completely incorporated into Piccadilly, and the White Horse is at about 166 Piccadilly.
