Old Tower Without pub history index
The photograph is dated 8.1.1941 of the George, 31 Trinity Square EC3.
The pub had been hit by incendiary bombs and the top two floors were destroyed. These were later demolished and the pub survived until c1965 when it was demolished during the building of the current Tower Hill station (opened 1967) and a road widening scheme.
