My great-great-uncle, a Samuel Long, is described as the off License holder of the Warden Arms in the Census of 1911. He was a tailor working in Trowbridge for most of his life, maybe a change of occupation as her became older? He was a Licensed Victualler at the Crown Inn, 12 Timbrell street, Trowbridge in 1901. **
Samuel Long.
