Morning Advertiser 22 March 1852 - Aplications for New Licenses. :
John Goulding, house at the corner of Victoria road and Hampstead new road. It was opposed by petitions from William Bouch, of the Victory, Simon Willament, of the Castle, and other persons. The ground of the opposition was that the neighbourhood was yet in an unfinished state, and that the roads and footways were not yet completed. In support, 50 houses had been built in this neighbourhood since last year. License refused.
