Railway Tavern, 35 Chalk Farm Road NW1

St Pancras index

There is a Wellington Arms listed in the 1833/34 Pigot's Directory on Harmood Place, so given the overlap in names with the 1836 Sun Fire Office insurance record (where it is named the Railway Tavern), this is presumably an earlier name for the same pub. * At 5 Harmood place, Hampstead road in 1856 and in the 1861 census. In 1869, 35 Chalk Farm road is at the junction with Harmood street. Now called the Lock Tavern (2008) **
